Making A Difference

Making A Difference

Program ParticipantsThe LDM program committed to making a difference by creating lasting reproductive health impacts at the individual, organizational and community levels through developing leadership.

How do we know we made a difference?

The evaluation of our programs has enabled us to build a body of evidence showing that leadership programs do make a difference. We gathered stories of impact from Leadership Fellows (link to stories), from community beneficiaries, and from organizational leadership teams that demonstrate transformation. We also sought feedback from various stakeholders that helped us continually improve our programs so that we met the ongoing learning and leadership needs of the Leadership Fellows who benefited from our work.

In the final year of the program, LDM partnered with the Research Center for Leadership in Action (RCLA) at the New York University’s Wagner School. RCLA principal evaluators worked with a team of evaluators in each of the focus countries to examine the impact of our work so that the lessons can be applied to future leadership development programs. The global report and executive summary written by RCLA can be downloaded here, along with the executive summary and full report from each country..
