Kamyla Marvi Tapal

Kamyla joined LDM in June 2006 and shifted the country office to Karachi. Prior to that her association with LDM was as a selection committee member since 2003. Under Kamyla’s management the Packard leadership fellows have been drawn together to build a strong critical mass for collective action.

Kamyla brings with her more than 15 years experience with the reproductive health, gender and development sector. She is one of the founding members of Aahung, an NGO working for sexual health and rights and continues as a board member with them. Currently she is also assigned to be part of a team of Health Sector Monitors for the health investments of CIDA. Kamyla has worked with the Aga Khan University, Department of Community Health Sciences in several rural and community based health programs. Currently Kamyla is studying for an MSc in Public Health with London University (external program).
